About the Winnipeg Whisky Festival
The Winnipeg Whisky Festival, now in its 13th year, is Manitoba’s premier whisky and spirits tasting event. It celebrates craftsmanship, flavour, and community. Hosted at the spacious RBC Convention Centre in late February or early March of each year, the festival brings together 305+ spirits from around the world, including Scotch, Irish, Japanese, Canadian, rum, tequila, and beyond, for a weekend of refined indulgence.
The Winnipeg Whisky Festival proudly celebrates the artistry, innovation, and passion behind Canadian craft distilling. From grain to glass, discover small-batch spirits that reflect the land, the people, and the stories behind every pour.
The on-site pop-up Manitoba Liquor Mart provides an opportunity for Festival attendees to purchase 125 rare and Festival-exclusive bottles not regularly available in our province.
Supporting the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame
The Festival's biggest highlight isn’t just the rich pours; it plays a vital role as the largest annual fundraiser for the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame. All ticket, raffle, and auction proceeds are directed to the Hall of Fame’s operations, educational outreach, and historical exhibits.
Over the years, funds raised have supported:
Preservation and display of sport memorabilia and archival materials
Public programming and student-based educational initiatives
Facility operations, including galleries and special events space at 145 Pacific Avenue

With more than 40 Canadian craft products featured, the 2026 festival showcases both beloved local distillers and exciting Canadian producers new to Winnipeg.
